What is Innate Intelligence?

Tuesday, February 02, 2016

Many people have been asking us where we got our name from and why we have been spelling "rejuvenate" wrong. Here it is! What on earth does Innate Intelligence mean? Let's break it down word by word.

Innate: inborn or natural
Intelligence: the ability to acquire and apply knowledge and skills

Innate Intelligence: inborn knowledge and skills (intelligence)

Innate intelligence is something we are born with. Our bodies are created to naturally understand how to heal and function on its own. It is this innate intelligence that pumps our heart, controls our breathing, regulates our blood pressure and influences our digestive system.

Rejuvenate: to make (someone) feel or look young, healthy, or energetic again; to restore to an original or new state; to give new strength or energy to (something)

RejuvInnate: to restore the body to optimal function by removing interference into the body's innate intelligence

Our innate intelligence is expressed through our nervous system, which allows us to have movement, our senses, a strong immune system and so much more. We put great emphasis on this innate intelligence, because interference to our nerves can cause a dampening effect. This can lead to pain, inflammation, dysfunction, a weak immune system and a number of other symptoms.

Chiropractors are trained to remove these interferences that could be chemically, emotionally or structurally induced. By removing these interferences through adjustments and proper nutrition, our innate intelligence can work at its full potential, keeping our bodies healthy and functioning optimally! Side effects of a properly working nervous system can increase your energy, strength, mobility and simply leave you feeling young again. So through chiropractic care, exercise and a diet with proper nutrition, you will lead a happy, healthy life and leave our office feeling rejuvinnated!
